There is no way the charges stick. The burden of proof is on the city as to whether those arrested were directly involved in the property damage. There’s no way these charges hold, right? Not just these, but all the mass roundup charges. How do you prove definitively who caused the damage? You can’t just prosecute someone based on the fact that they were close to where property was damaged if you have no proof they were directly responsible.

Because the alternative is worse: Shutting the press out of the White House. The best thing that the media can do is listen to these falsehoods as they’re being uttered, and rather than air them live, fact check them and report them later, thus exposing the lies.
