very true. Had it not won I bet it would be seen as the underdog that everyone still loves. Same with The King's Speech, Slumdog Millionaire and The Artist.
For most of the film I thought looked like the result of mating Ryan Gosling with Bradley Cooper (he has a smile that evokes the smirk and eyes of Cooper). Later on in the film I decided it was closer to Paul Walker than Gosling.
I'm very disappointed the clip chosen to prove his musical prowess wasn't David Brent's If You Don't Know Me By Now.
