"…but not Dimensions in Time."
"…but not Dimensions in Time."
For me it's still below "These aren't hypothetical questions!" and "She cares so I don't have to", both of which have the snarl of Tucker berating an underling.
It's a fairly common paring of names in the UK - not everyday use but enough so that you could recognise the episode title of Smith and Jones to be a cute reference. I don't know if it predates the US series Alias Smith and Jones or not, but that show was common enough for the comedians Mel Smith and Griff Rhys Jones…
I'm also taking Clara's suggestion of "Worksop?" to be a reference to Maid Marion and her Merry Men, even though deep down I know it's a more general reference.
"Boneitis? That's a funny name for a horrible disease."
We had it cut over here in Blighty as well.
I disagree - I think it's a tragic, cruel ending to her arc but in a dramatically satisfying way.
"Boring" is exactly the right term for Curse of the Black Spot. Robot of Sherwood's worse 'crime' (depending on if you enjoyed it or not) is that it was silly.
I'm on the side of television meaning "writing for a (canon*) filmed story with new footage of that Doctor". Which I know muddles the pool a bit but counts Moffat as having written for Five, Eight, Nine, Ten, Eleven and Twelve, plus The War Doctor. I wouldn't count The Curator, given the ambiguous nature of the…
It would very likely have been awful. But fascinatingly so.
No, there will not be a new series of Flight of the Conchords. Where did you get that preposterous hypothesis? Did Steve tell you that, perchance?
They showed some Walking Dead in black and white once, so they're meeting you half way.
And they were mostly better than RTD's use of them. Dalek may remain the New Who benchmark for dalek stories but I'd put The Big Bang right behind it. Asylum was a great use of them as well.
Plus big enough to swallow the TARDIS.
Fully agreed. Plus, all of the Tumblr pleasing "Oh yeah, it's definitely a love story between them" comments from Fuller in interviews and whatnot really seemed like (a certain type of) fan service and cheapened the complicated relationship that I was interested in.
He did American Psycho until February and since then has filmed a role in the new Terminator. It's not constant work but that's pretty decent (and high profile enough), considering I'm sure he also fancied a bit of time off after constantly doing Who for a few years.
It was definitely hinted at that Clara fancied him. In her first proper episode he announced that the TARDIS "wasn't a snog box" and she replied with a smile and an "I'll be the judge of that". She also came across very "the lady doth protest too much" in the cyberman episode when the Cybercontroller part of Eleven…
Five is right out.
Should it not be "From Gary Newman to Gary Oldman"?
Same here! Caught it on Monday - first time I'd seen it and I loved it.
