That FTL jump? One of the greatest moments of the whole series.

Thanks for sharing that - not only a very sweet story (currently watching Cheers from beginning to end - the first time I've 'properly' watched it - so the sadness of Colastanto/Coach's passings are still recent in my mind) but the whole read was fantastic.
I find it easy to forgive/ignore considering how great the rest of the episode is, emotionally (the use of The Public Enemy is very well done) and just how sharply written it all was. The wake scenes are some of the best in the show.

With regards to the action stuff, the Russo Brothers weren't known for action either but Captain America 2 had it in spades (and some great stuff too) so I wouldn't take it as any indicator. I love the song. I don't know how much of that is down to being only 14 at the time and so not having any investment in U2's previous work (though I was of course aware of the singles) or maybe not seeing the video helped, but I thought it was great at the time and still enjoy it now.
Also, doesn't Jack arrive at Waterloo to grab Simone off her arriving tube and then they both leave via Charing Cross?

They're called bum bags, you damn yanks!

Hence Peter Dinklage not being in the credits for this episode, which caught me off-guard as I assumed his name was just the default opening credit on the show now.
I have had one death spoiled for me thanks to the actor/actress playing that character discussing it in an interview that had nothing at all to do with Game of Thrones. Just casually thrown in there with an "Well, of course, I die…"
To add to Das Mogul's Tucker counterpoint with another fine Tucker moment -
They also had it for the season 8 finale as a nice throwback.
You shut your mouth about the Licence to Kill theme. It's one of the best.

Accidents happen all the time. What makes you think it was mur-durr?
“We did 121 hours of Lost. Arguably only 15 to 20 of them were subpar, bordering on turds.”
