So every review needs to be positive or the reviewer should stop watching? That would be pretty boring.

As a liberal black man living in the US, let me explain for anyone that’s curious why Trump has so much support in our country: Shit like this.
As Virginia reels from the revelation that its political leadership is littered with white men who wore blackface, it’s worth remembering that several contemporary celebrities have done the same
On Wild ‘n’ Out Nick Cannon’s run jokes making fun of asians for:
The purity olympics in America need too fucking stop. I am a left leaning, liberal woman of color. This shit needs to stop. This is why people end up becoming the Trump supporters we see in ever-growing millions these days. Nothing is enough. They all apologized. Fred Armisen was playing Barack Obama, not making fun…
A lot of it seems to be the post-fact age we find ourselves in. You can’t criticize the last Ghostbusters film or The Last Jedi without being labeled a misogynist. To the point where any legit critique still starts with “I don’t care that Admiral Holdo was a woman...” You can’t defend any Trump action without someone…
“And thinking that what we all wanted was for Castle to learn how to love again with the help of a headstrong teenage girl serving as a substitute daughter for the one he lost?”
Oh god no, oh dear god, please no. This is a joke review, right? The real review is coming out later? Please? :(
This was a lot of words to say that you want clicks for being contrary.
If you don’t like a film genre, let me give you some advice, watch something else.
I hate being a grumpy old man complaining on the internet about the brave new world of Chibnall, so I’ll just say that my 11yo daughter fell asleep during the interminable cafe scene.
This felt like a retread of “Dalek” except longer & much stupider.
Jodie Whitaker is a fine actress, and she plays a great Dr. Who.
However, Chibnall and his writing staff suck ass on toast. Not good toast, but the extremely boring kind of toast, made with the blandest bread possible. This season of Dr. Who made me realize I’d rather have a “Love and Monsters” level of goofy trainwreck…
This episode was so far from what “The Doctor” has come to be over the years. I have no problem with a female Doctor and think Jody Whittaker is a great actress, but the character she plays is just a pale shadow of The Doctor. Her knowledge, presence, and confidence have been severely reduced and diluted among all the…
I do think Chinall’s season had more in common with the first revival series than Moffat’s in that RTD struggled to get all the tonal stuff right and made some forgettable episodes in between the good stuff. I’m hoping he’ll hit his stride in the next season.
forced Native peoples to again explain that blood does not determine one’s inclusion in a tribe or nation
felt the same way. I gave it a 6/10
Then I watched it again with fresh eyes and made a ‘game’ of it. with other people. REALLY enjoyed it, I give it a 9/10
The gimmick was interesting at first- but half way through we just wanted to get to the end and lost interest... fast. It got to the point where no one cared which choice we made.
Totally agree about the pacing. Feeling like ASP is having trouble finding her footing after network TV with 22-24-episode seasons and then to Netflix with 4 “movies” to stand in for a full year... there seem to be issues with her finding the middle ground in these 10-episode seasons!
Yeah, it was an uneven finale at best, and that’s how the whole season was for me. It hopped from thing to thing so quickly that nothing seemed to develop organically. The brother is in the CIA? (why?). Mom ran away to Paris? Midge gets demoted and promoted and serves as a wedding planner for a coworker whose wedding…
I could not agree with you more. These are literally all the points I made on Reddit immediately after watching this episode.
I really hated that final scene. I really like Benjamin and really hate Joel, so it’s kind of a given. Even though Joel was getting a “redemption arc” this season, a lot of his behaviour made…
I know this is a minority opinion (but I saw some others on here saying it too) but this episode was just pretentious and weird for weird’s sake. This show is quickly becoming the superhero version of “Mr. Robot”. Yes, it is nice David mourns his sister and in other universes he is happily married of that the Shadow…
