Since there will never be a full-fledged Batman in the DCCWU, I just want Matches Malone (played by Scott Adkins) to visit Star City to investigate some mysterious murders, the same murders Oliver & co also investigate.

Looks lovely. Burton can be hit or miss, these days, and I’m not a big fan of Ehren Kruger’s writing, but this teaser trailer works for me.
I tend to agree (I’m less of a fan of Anjelica Huston as Morticia, though), but it bears mentioning that Ricci’s Wednesday is far from the original (and the tv show’s) depiction of Wednesday.
Same here. Hopefully, the animated movie will make enough money to get Netflix to shell out the cash and produce a limited series around the Addams family, once A Series of Unfortunate Events runs out.
I like Glenn & Neville on Face Off, I usually have nothing against Neville’s designs (he has some gorgeous nu-Klingons on his website, originally conceived for Into Darkness), but Glenn’s team’s make-up work on Discovery has been rough & uninspired, between those awful, rubber-looking pseudo-Klingons, the Nebula-lite…
Yeah, I’d argue she probably was the strongest actor on Smallville, alongside maybe Rosenbaum.
Nicki Clyne.
Yeah, I get it, it’s supposed to be a lighter, more comedic superhero movie, but I don’t think I’ll ever be able to consider this particular Shazam as DCEU’s “I-came-back-to-life-singlehandledly-manhandled-the-entire-JLA-and-one-punched-Steppenwolf-in-the-same-movie” Superman’s equal in powers and strength, as it…
It already opened wednesday & thursday in most non-US countries (and the numbers aren’t particularly good).
Well, Solo is currently really underperforming in theaters worldwide, and that’s with characters non-fans are familiar with. I don’t see Boba Fett : A Random Adventure faring much better.
To be fair, though, LMS did noticeably tone the conservative rhetoric down after a while, to the point it was limited to one or two grouchy Tim Allen one-liners per episode.
Scott Adkins is really the only correct answer, here.
The only thing I could think about during Nebula’s scenes was “I can barely recognize Karen Gillan this time around, did they change her make-up or something ?”
I’ll sidestep the ST Beyond debate (been there, done that, it leads nowhere fast), and go straight to the point : I don’t remember her work on Jessica Jones (then again, I don’t remember much about JJ s1 aside from Tennant) but I really hated SJ Clarkson’s work on the first two Defenders episodes (weird framing, dutch…
Both of them, in fact.
It won’t affect the movie in the slightest, since every movie under the sun has always had a second unit director. A second-unit director is not a co-director.
I wouldn’t call two 25+yo movies and a two-seasons, 20-yo tv sitcom “done to death”, but that’s just me.
Eh. The only thing I want Netflix to reboot, right now (and I know it’s not sci-fi, which make this reply totally off topic) is the Addams Family.
I don’t really care anymore about this crapfest of a show, but I’ve gotta admit it’s a very good choice. And Mount deserves better than Inhumans (though STD is barely better).
Think Star Trek: Enterprise meets Stargate: Atlantis.
