You're given normal shell access. Mine is currently running debian stable, but I think several (linux) options are available. I think the TOS states to not use it as a file server or anything that will use a crap ton of processor. I'm sure they'll let me know if I do something wrong ;)

1920x1080 start page = fail.

Sheesh. Linux users are so case sensitive

Oh yeah? Well "cd %userprofile%" will take you...

Finally, if you're new to virtual instruments, spend some time searching and downloading a bunch of free ones. There are a ton out there, and even if two sound really similar, one might fit in to a certain song or mix better than the other.

Cinnamon Toast Sludge is delicious!

Do you make a quarter of her pay? I'm sure if you were willing to post your monthly expenses, Lifehacker could post an article and then all of the financial planners could comment. Come on...it will be fun :)

Imagine if google glass could put some type of overlay on the lenses and eye tracking. We could have a live action version of VirtualBoy.

I'd have a little mario like character jumping on people's heads. Maybe an 8 bit Ryu throwing fireballs at people.

There is this youtube channel called "Kin Community" (or something like that). They put up a weeks worth of videos with the idea of giving you a full weekly menu. They planned it out so at the end of the week you can make "leftover" fried rice. It is an ingenious system IMO. Buy, cook and store with the intention

I'm thinking about joining one of those co-ops. There is a new one to my city called "Greenling". I'm just scared they will drop off a crate of eggplant or something and I'll have no clue what to do with it.

There is a cook on youtube named Ching He Huang. Channel = "NEIHUFLYER" . If you watch her channel, you'll see she uses some gas powered burner when outdoors. It looks a lot like a turkey fryer to me. I think the key word is "outdoors"

Win Key, right arrow gets me to the shutdown menu on Win 7. That's faster than WinKey+R and typing...

This is a rather ambitious topic. I'm shocked no one has come in ranting about room treatment yet.

That sounds like a fun challenge :) Lifehacker....this would be a good article as well...

To word-hack the venerable Rick James:

Powershell is pretty impressive. I know it is somewhat new, but it really does address a lot of issues people have with the old command prompt. I wouldn't call myself a scripter or coder, but I know my way around the old command line, the bash terminal and Powershell. I'd have to put Powershell WAY at the top of

You could also just use a cheap flash light with the same hose clamp "mounting system". Then, as time goes on, you could replace the flash light with a brighter model.

Google Glass Version .1?

I bet your WinXP/P4 physical machine is faster than my stateless, Win7 VDI session.
