Hmm...I think my router can share a phones data connection as a backup. Seems like a pretty nifty option. Does anyone know of any cheaper android phones this would work with?
Glad I'm not the only one.
I really miss the heated seats in my old car...for the 2 weeks in Houston when it's cold, THEY ARE AWESOME
You speak the truth :(
I've always used backspace and shift backspace.
Great tip. I once had a laptop with a flaky touchpad. I found I could press start and then escape to get focus on the taskbar. Then I could tab down to the task tray. This Win+B would have saved me some headache...
Mind blown with that CMD trick. How did I not know this?!?
Powershell profiles rock. In debian, I've always used pico (sorry...I can't wrap my head around vi/vim). In powershell, I set an alias called pico > notepad++. Seems silly, but saves me so much time and reinforces my bad habits! Oh...wait...
This is the reason I don't really care about a start menu/start page.
In fact, you can do this for all the control panel applets. While appwiz.cpl is my fav, I also use inetcpl.cpl, desk.cpl, ncpa.cpl, etc. Works great when you're doing remote support.
I refuse to buy a keyboard without that key.
I keep meaning to pick up some of those from Amazon. Looks like the perfect EDC solution.
That keyboard is all kinds of wrong.
I heard the Surface RT is really good at holding tape as well, but Apple has a patent on using a device to hold tape.
Does ebay not let you sell currency?
Lights, ceiling fans, AC, etc.
You know you're a geek if...
So if power goes out, you live in *beeping* hell
Hmmm... how could that be automated? Geasemokey?
