@RT100: [icanhazip.com] does it better. I have a long, overly elaborate script running on my linux server that checks my IP once an hour and sends me a txt if it changes. I'm hoping I can create my own DYNDNS service. I just need to figure out how to create my own DNS records @ godaddy via the command line.

For what it's worth - the Lack tables are really cheap - hollow core (I have 3 of them!). There are a ton of articles of people using the Rast table for similar purposes and based on the one I have sitting in front of me...much better results.
