i get the impression that, with the right marketing push and capitalizing on brendan fraser’s oscar win, batgirl might have made more money theatrically than flash will.

Not that I totally agree with them, but you’re focusing entirely on the money part and ignoring the willing neglect of safety part. It’s not about drawing lines with money, it’s about how much of a burden should be placed on others by those who through arrogance among other things won’t carry that burden for

Where should we draw the line? If you have $10 million in the bank is the government allowed to rescue you? $1 million? $100k? What cut off level do you propose for the “you’re on your own” response

I know. And, I get it. But as someone who has volunteered with alpine and backcountry Search and Rescue for years, we don’t go looking for people based on moral considerations. At the end of the day, these are lost people and we go looking for them. Period.

It was important to Skyrim/Oblivion that not all of their dungeons have a distinct purpose. If you’re just exploring randomly and stumble across the cave, you don’t know if that cave just has some bandits and random generic loot, or a big sidequest, or is something more unique and handcrafted. That not knowing adds a

These types of games would be really well served by incorporating some of the tool tech that Spore was built on — the creature creator, building creator, etc. If you’ve ever browsed Spore’s library of ‘things,’ you know how massive that selection can be and how addicting it is to ‘make’ things with its tools — its got

“Yeah, no shit.”

Mario Rides Yoshi and Turns Into an Elephant

I was at a Frank Zappa show years ago, and somebody threw a bottle at him. He stopped the show, had the house lights turned on, and said “I’m not playing another note until the person that threw that bottle is arrested.” The house lights came on, and everybody in the audience pointed at the guy who threw the bottle.

Can we stop throwing shit at performers period? I don’t care if it’s a phone, a pair of panties or a 3D print of Armand Assante’s nipples. Unless they specifically ask to have something thrown on stage, maybe let the musicians do the thing they’re there to do.

You’re probably right but “I was trying to see if I could hit her with the phone” is an insane thing to say in that case.

Don’t you need your phone? Even if you’re the kind of jerk who thinks wanging someone in the head is funny; is it funny enough to chuck your device so you probably won’t get it back? Did dude bring a spare “throwin’ phone” just in case this particular comedic opportunity presented itself?

I call shenanigans - nearly every subreddit I was in that went dark had posts soliciting feedback and input on what should be done - whether to go dark, if so, how long and so on.  The only one that didn’t made it clear that they were bootlickers for Spez and would do nothing, regardless of what people asked.

Look, if he wants to get flamed (and he said he wants to get flamed) I guess I can help him out.

This dude really wrote six angry paragraphs about Reddit drama and ended it by calling other people “keyboard warriors.”

The small minority here are largely mods that depend on third party apps that aid in moderating subreddits. It has little to do with avoiding ads and everything to do with having good tools that remain absent on the main app.

That “small minority” is an all-volunteer work force that keeps Reddit functional. The mods go away, the site goes away. You have genuinely no idea how much free labor Reddit is just throwing out the window with this move.

Except you’re missing the larger, more important issue:

“Now, please let all of the uber-entitled keyboard warriors eager to take up the cause of the week flame me below. Your rage fueled tirades will only serve to make me laugh.”

I like how you write your own tirade and then just immediately, preemptively shut down any possible response by dismissing them as written by

In regards to the right place to find an answer to something, thats 100% sure. Trash Websites have gotten so good at SEO that it’s ruined things like google.
