Maybe I’m just getting old and soft, but my mind went to all the devs and team members who actually probably worked very hard on this game and were likely to some degree mismanaged. Hopefully they work on enough not to have this kind of thing affect them too much, but I’m sure it can’t be great for morale.

That pretty much sums up the viewership of the Daily Caller...

Dammit now I want myself an escape goat.  Maybe one that can chew through chains and ropes, or one that slips out of hoof-cuffs.

Logical thinking and reasoning skills are not the Daily Caller demographic’s strong point. They also tend to hop-to when a (alleged) billionaire septuagenarian who’s been a con-man his entire adult life says “Send me money”.

The unmentioned backstory is usually that the 20-something in question is a trust fund kid whose parents have an 8- or 9-figure net worth and a network of influential relatives and business contacts. But by gosh it was all hard work!

Crypto King at 23 yeah right. When will people stop thinking the 20 something’s have a break through that no one saw coming, but them.

Me, a person who knows nothing about professional chess, reading that headline: “Is Anal Bead Scandal a chess move?”

He came out with the truth now because the people he scammed finally all caught on that he was scamming. He told the sameish sob story to tons of different streamers and since he was “one of them” they believed him. I don’t get the hot tub stream hate.  I mean it’s not all that different that what you would see at a beach or pool.  I never watched them, but it’s not like they are running around naked.

Well, you’re certainly making a case.

Considering the worst thing about social media is that it causes people to regress into their middle-school selves, where their snippiness and shitheadery is rewarded and their nuance is drained through the floor, I’d say your comment is a pretty good indication that they’re right.

Social media was a mistake.”

What has surprised me most about this leak is the number of fanboys who’ve seen the leaked footage, replete with placeholder models, temporary animation, and visible code superimposed on top of the gameplay and gone “WTF, Rockstar?! This doesn’t look like a finished game! What a clown show!”

Having it not acknowledge Cobra Kai, which 99% of the audience will have seen, seems like a huge mistake.

Surely Sony wouldn’t crap the bed with an existing popular franchise ... oh, wait.

12 years? Surely you must be forgetting the Jackie Chan one that came out only a couple of years ag-oh fuck you

In the time it took you to write this, you could’ve just accepted that some people like something you don’t like.

I don’t understand the still-strong pull this game has. It makes me wonder how many fans of the game have actually gone back to play it within the last... Decade? 15 years? It feels absolutely abysmal to play. It feels like a relic of design that people are happy to see gone. I don’t understand why this game gets this
