Anybody know The Straight Story on why Michael J Anderson is not on this list? How's he been Dune lately, anyways? In the red room, there's a real Elephant, Man.
PS Eraserhead

I preferred the actress they replaced her with, but Moira Kelly is also not listed in this reboot. Ah well, Donna wasn't really a great character anyways, aside from her friendship w/Laura.

I actually always wondered what the deal was with that song. Seemed too good to be written for a little transitionary snippet of a movie… the three seconds or so at the dance scene are still memorable. Bowie cover explains it.

Thanks for enabling my point re: alcoholism in the film.
I also cannot believe how fixated the earlier poster is on boiler maintenance- he clearly would have paid it more due diligence than any version of Jack Torrence. To this I say, Bravo, sir- you are the boiler king, and have now convinced me that all forms of art

I mean, you're entitled to your opinion, but since you asked…
Hotels need a caretaker. It's not really of interest when dealing with screenplay restraints to get into boiler maintenance, unless Kubrick had decided to stick with the original ending. Jack's frozen grin is iconic. Artistic license, moving on.
The movie

Midnight Meat Train… was certainly a movie.

Pornoisseurs.

"SPILL your drink as you pass out from boredom!"

Agreed. I felt like there were a couple times where Turturro actually came through as Janice- mostly in her awful and bizarre relationship with Richie. The fear of being alone. Mostly her character was annoying, I agree, but I don't think she was an awful actress.
Iler, on the other hand… it's hard to imagine how he

Janice is close, but I am shocked that there is not an AJ consensus, who was annoying for six seasons straight. Minor characters cannot compare.

Depp and Del Toro reteaming would actually be pretty cool. Another good meme I saw was to just have S2 be a Twin Peaks relaunch.
