Wonder what the aesthetics of the retirement homes will look like for our generation? Or gen Z? The way we’re not accumulating wealth we’ll all be living in an apartment with multiple beds.

It does? Non-telegenic people with tons of leisure time and no goals?
It’s strange revisiting that movie now. The Tracy/Jim stuff is the most interesting, but that one Tammy speech is just pure joy. It kind of came out of nowhere and then the movie drops it, but it’s easily the most fun part of the whole movie. I STILL want to cheer that speech.
I don’t get it. I eat a lot of cauliflower, but make me pretend it’s rice or pizza, and I’m just really aware I’m not eating rice or pizza.
No one eats cauliflower rice because they like it. They eat it because it’s healthy. I think the purpose is to have it taste like as little as possible.
This seems bad all around. When I think Lucille Ball I definitely think of a woman whose face is frozen and who acts while posing and has never pulled off anything close to a comedy role ever.
But if they kill her, the show will have to write the other actors sad and that’s a buzzkill, for a show I enjoyed but is basically a cotton candy fun show with one-liners.
That wasn’t Tina Fey though. It was Tracey Whigfield. Tina was just the EP.
That’s really Tina Fey’s weak spot. Woke stereotypes are the worst, so when the joke lands it REALLY lands but I don’t think it’s ever landed on a Tina Fey joke. Every time she tried it on 30 Rock and (especially) Kimmy Schmidt it hit like a brick. It felt like present day Jerry Seinfeld, Joe Rogan, and Adam Carolla…
“White” and “Latinx” aren’t mutually exclusive. You know how the US census says “identify as Hispanic or Latino of any ethnicity”?
Thanks for this. I’ve tried making halvah and it never comes out right. I always stir it too long and end up with a hard block that crumbles into shards. I’ve only used sugar though, never added honey. I’ll try that.
The funniest part of this to me is the fact that Whole Foods, like every other supermarket, sells 90% high calorie food or junk food. If he wants to make a point that diet cures everything, get rid of everything in the store but the produce and meat counter and the cans of beans.
Funny story - they wanted to film two endings. One with Dinkins and one with Giuliani and they would air whichever based on the election results. But Dinkins refused to participate.
At this point, Trump is keeping around whoever will have him. He always had to settle for the B-list Republicans even right after he won. Now it’s more like the F-list.
Fat adds more calories than sugar, as I’m sure you know. Regardless, I just checked and the added sugar works out to 5 more calories a serving than the ones that are just peanut powder.
Also why am I in the greys? I post on the takeout all the time and no greys. This just started happening today. Was one of my boring-ass posts reported?
I have a jar in my cupboard that I almost never use. The problem is it tastes bad. I love natural peanuts only pb, but apparently the fat it what makes it taste good. PB2 is for when you need protein or if there are enough other flavours you can’t taste it.
Some brands/flavours have added sugar, some don’t.
It’s not about being fat-phobic. It’s about being pro-protein and calorie phobic. Removing fat from things has always been a proxy to remove calories, and of course we’re all protein-obsessed now.
You could make a pan of millionaire’s shortbread.
