How dare you reawaken my repressed memories of that awful show! These memories were supposed to stay buried for a reason. I remember what happened at the end of the first season. She chose the boy toy and confessed to him afterwards that she had dated the celebrity known as Fabio. The insecure meathead dumped her

He’s hot. When are they going to cast one of us ugos? In all seriousness, about damn time.

Wasn’t there a study showing that the groups who do the worst on dating apps are black women and Asian men? I don’t watch the Bachelor but I wonder why the show isn’t more diverse in general. Seems like they have a real, real, specific quota for how many and what kind of non-whites and I wonder how they arrived there?

Because soggy cornflakes that have just enough milk in the bowl not to leave any behind after all the milk is absorbed, are the best cornflakes.

This is the kind of service journalism America needs right now.

Everyone with Chia seeds, date syrup, and oat milk in your house right now, raise your hand.

When I made this as a a kid you would grate the apples and then add the milk or yogurt the next morning, just before eating. Less soggy that way.

When my grandmother made this in the old days, it was called Swiss Muesli or Bircher Muesli? Other people remember this, right? It usually had grated apple as a fruit, and nuts.

Yeah or they didn’t want to give the entire plot away in the trailer.

Just like In & Out, I distinctly remember the marketing for this film trying to play it as a screwball comedy about a straight person who’s mistaken for gay and gets into hijinks trying to prove they’re not. Because of course the studios figured no one would go to a movie about a genuinely gay person learning to

That doesn’t work for me. Eating non-carbs that pretends to be carbs just makes me sad I’m not eating carbs. I love cauliflower, but don’t tell me it’s rice, you know? I’ve done spaghetti squash with poached egg and melted cheese. It’s ok.

A couple poached eggs over a bed of arugula with a couple twists from the pepper grinder and a balsamic drizzle has been a go-to breakfast of mine for a while now. Quick, simple, and relatively filling.

“This packaging does not work with natural peanut butter.”

But in 2020 you don’t need to be a snob to get just peanuts peanut butter. Every supermarket store brand does that now. I mostly eat the just peanuts stuff, unless I’m baking or as a treat. It’s almost like icing.

IS Lana Del Rey a success though? I feel like she had “Video Games” 10 years ago and then was always known more for her scandals than anything else.

J think I get what she’s trying to say, “that the only women who are being seeing as feminists are those that are openly sex positive, whereas she doesn’t do that and is criticized for it” which I can see.

I dont have a full opinion on Lana Del Rey, i have enjoyed some songs but have not really gotten into any album despite hearing good things. I do find it a little off-putting though that the female artists she is calling out are all primarily African-American artists. It just kinda rubs me the wrong in a “privileged

Interesting how the biggest increases are mostly on staple ingredients and healthy foods, rather than packaged foods or junk. Or luxury foods. Indicates the reason we don’t cook in normal times is lack of time rather than lack of knowledge.

Yeast is basically the Honus Wagner card of the grocery world right now. Why do you think everyone’s making sourdough?

I tried to get into it but I couldn’t. The main character is exactly the kind of character I can’t take seriously. He’s a douche and the show sort of gets that but wants me to be on his side, to care about his journey, to see him vs the other losers at the high school, and I just can’t see it that way. For the show to
