Make sure you tune in next year, where David Tracy trash picks a Barbie Jeep and drives it to Moab

if you include all the unpaid and skilled labor done by david, his friends, family, and total strangers this thing will end up costing near 20k.

GOLDEN EEEEEEEEEEAGLE!

I love following build threads for more, uh, substantive projects. Solid axle swaps, engine modifications, custom suspension, body armor and drivetrain upgrades, stuff like that. Taking a vehicle and building it to a highly personalized level of detail.

Better yet, dont pay $500 for a vehicle that wasn’t worth that much in scrap minus the cost of hauling it to the scrap yard.

You seem nice.

watch from the sidelines as my new coworkers speculated about things I knew were utterly wrong.

I think its safe to say David, Chrysler was very lucky to have you as an employee. And they really should appreciate you as an ex employee “out in the wild” but still a very favorable reflection of their brand.

A little bit of history, a little bit of Jeep, and a little bit of engineering...

Jeep should buy that photo and use it in an ad...

I just want to reiterate how truly impressed I am that not only did you kept going, but was able to to step back and find that timing issue. That takes a level of paitence and calm I cannot say I would have had.

Not gonna lie, I thought this was photoshopped at first glance (it isn’t, is it?). That deserves a picture frame. Beautiful.

Plot twist, it ends up towing the Raptor home at 40 mph.

I don’t know of anybody who went through as much as you did with a vehicle, David. Your persistence certainly paid off. You deserve to have some fun now.
