I have a pro controller, and it is absolutely fantastic. I would put it among my top favorite controllers ever, personally. It’s just a perfectly ergonomic design.
While I don’t deny that $70 is a lot to spend, it’s not that much more than the MSRP of a XB1 or PS4 controller - which is to say that basically all control

I am in the same position as you. I haven’t really had any problems playing Zelda with the Joy-Cons in the Charging Grip, so I’m not sure if I want to spend $70 on this controller. Not to mention I had the Pro Controller for Wii U and rarely used it, the GamePad was fine for me.

The pro controller feels weird after playing with the joycons for a few days but its extra movement range for the thumbsticks and greater hand comfort are well worth it.

You don’t need it. But I love it, personally. Got lucky and grabbed the last one at Target during launch. I don’t play Switch on tv that much, but when I do, it’s Pro Controller or bust.

I have one and it makes a huge difference, to me, for playing Zelda. It just fits my hands much better than the JoyCons on the grip. The button spacing and the sticks are so much better in my opinion.

If you already got another joycon set and a charging grip, I don’t think you absolutely need the Pro controller.

My wife loves the joycons (she says the controller is the perfect size for her hands), and while I don’t mind them, I picked up a Pro controller because, well, it looks damn near perfect for me. If you find

I might be a bit biased, since I haven’t looked at a manual in years, but it wasn’t until somebody else pointed it out in the comments a while back that I noticed you guys really do like to put Nintendo in a negative light. I mean yeah, like other people commenting, they prolly are just cutting it, or making it

This just further reinforces my theory that if you want to make a game where everything is solved by bullets or explosions, that you need to include a grappling hook, reusable parachute, and wingsuit.

“...any number of different ways, and microwaves that turn into cameras, et cetera,” Conway said. “We know that this is just a fact of modern life.

The original NES game definitely had a high difficulty and no way to save. I haven’t played the Virtual Console iterations, but if it allows save states like other VC games, that should make the game a little bearable. Even with saving, the game was a long.

I haven’t played BMZ (just bought it today), but I’d venture to say play the original only if you’re willing to put the time and effort into it. As someone who played through the original in 1989 over and over again until I could beat it on a whim, I honestly don’t even think I have the patience to try and do it

This was a day-1 purchase for me. I didn’t know it would be a remake of the original, so when I booted it up and the cinematic was about Jason looking for his frog, I was ecstatic! It’s so worth the $10.

The original was a pretty difficult game IIRC. Probably better off just sticking to playing this remake

Is this the reason why you can’t get 20% discounts with Best Buy GC or Amazon Prime on digital versions of games? I usually end up just buying the disc version of the game because of that.

Fahey’s character:

So would zelda, bomberman, and snipperclips be the 3 launch titles to pick up?

This is basically trackmania no?

All due respect, but your assessment of Zelda is off. It’s something special.

Neither. I went grey and will get a colour matched set of JoyCon later on, probably in red.
