BOI is a great “I’ve got about 40 min to screw around” sort of game. It has that just-one-more feel that a good roguelike should have.
Heck, I know people who basically only play this on their Vita and that’s gotten their moneys worth out of it.

I wanted the pair to play some 4-player snipperclips and bomberman. Which let me just say, those two games are kind of the best four player experiences.
You’ve seen 2-player Snipperclips, with four the puzzles are bigger and chaotic.
Bomberman 4-player vs is just as chaotic as you remember from SNES days, it’s a joy.

I used the Pro Controllers on Wii U primarily for smash and kart. Although I’m equally competent with Wiimotes. Truth be told, I have 35 controllers in my house, what’s one more going to hurt?

I ultimately get used to whatever I’m playing with, I think I’ll wait until someone runs them on sale.

Also it seems to be gone already.

I’m divided on this thing. I already spent $80+$30 on another set of joy-con and the charging grip, do I reaaaaally need this? I guess a proper d-pad and nicer right stick placement sounds pretty good, but do I need it now or can I wait until inevitably this thing goes on sale?
Any of you who have one, do you consider…

I was planning to either hack it onto my NES Classic or play with an emulator and utilize save states in either case. A reasonably priced remake/remaster seems like a much easier way to enjoy this game.
Oh and it’s on the Switch, so I guess I’ll go ahead and enjoy it ANYWHERE.
I never played the original, but always wanted to get into it. I like the concept and I like the BGM. Would you say that Master Blaster Zero makes playing the original unnecessary?
Well that certainly explains it! My trend has been to get physical releases from online retailers like Best Buy and Amazon that each have 20% off deals for Gamers Club Unlocked members and Prime members, respectively. Which really proves it, if I could save $10 by buying digital, I would never not buy digital again.…
If it’s due to proprietary cartridges, perhaps we could see a discount on the eShop
Or just wait for the local release! I need Puyo Puyo Tetris in my life though
Yes, but with collision detection!
I’ve had two issues:
1. Once while changing games it locked up entirely. Which was interesting because undocking still changed the picture, but I couldn’t interact with anything and had to do a hard reset.
Holy crap, that’s got to be some kind of record
Okay, I’m officially on the hype wagon now
Gamestop, Best Buy, and Wal-Mart are having midnight releases tonight. Check the Switch subreddit and call your local stores.
I’d say it’s still worth it, just bring a battery pack and backup entertainment. Zelda on a plane is the best.
Basically this - I lived with roommates all through the Wii era, played their systems. Moved out, bought a Wii U and had no regrets.
This. I rather like the idea of supporting things you like, and I really hope that the system goes in that direction rather than content creators becoming (even more of) paid advertisements.
$90 is too much to pay though. I got a class 10 128 GB card for only $40 with a deal last week and for the most part don’t think the Switch is going to suffer that much for it.
