Agreed. It takes time (and good writing) to lay the groundwork for a universe. Like Universal’s “The Mummy,” each part of the whole must be entertaining, or at least passable (I’m looking at you, Doctor Strange.)

This right here. Slow down, take your time, grow the audience. Same thing would have worked for Universal’s “Dark Universe:” make a few mid-budget movies about monster, keep them coherent and entertaining, THEN team them up or have them cross over. Iron Man didn’t mention any other characters until after the credits.
