Not video games? Shenmue 3 disagrees... 😁

Micromania (it’s like Gamestop, it’s owned by Gamestop, but it’s French).

I remember that the story was awesome (like... Stephen King meets Steven Spielberg levels of cool) but the gameplay was kinda meh. I mean, aiming a flashlight to shadow monsters before shooting them gets really boring after a few hours...

Fail ? They sell like hot cakes. BTW, everybody I know who wanted a console got one, including me... All it took was walking into a store the day Ratchet & Clank came out and buy one. My brother in law preorder his in june, got it in august. Same for a couple of friends. All it takes is patience, something many people…

Nobody saw this shortage coming. And you can’t just ā€œdelayā€ a console launch planned years in advance with every company in the chain (game devs, manufacturers, retailers, etc.), let alone change its specs. Both consoles needed a refresh anyway, since many games were held back by the necessity to run on 2013 hardware.

I’m the kind of guy who doesn’t remotely care about the color of his consoles or controllers but man is this UGLY.

And add a few bucks and you have a used Switch. Like, the whole console.

Because we are talking about kids, and kids should totally sleep between 12AM and 6AM.

No opinion on whether it’s up to the government or the parents to forbid kids to play at night. But I remember that, 10 years ago, some of the youngest StarCraft 2 Korean players like Life were unable to compete in tournaments after midnight, and IIRC they had to create special rules to take this law into account.

I’m not a fan of huge strategy management 4X style sims and yet I gave this game a try (thx GamePass). I played a few hours, andĀ it was fine! However, the inability to control your allied troops when at war killed all the fun. I mean, I know these are not your own troops and it’s kind of logical you can’t directly…

If it’s really an IPV6 issue, I don’t understand how switching to Ethernet can solve it.

I tried to replay it a few months back and got bored at the theater level...

We’re talking about scammers. They’d take your money and disappear.

He probably means the sneakers craze, and TBH I don’t get it either. ShoesĀ are shoes.

I don’t see how this is relevant to my opinion on the tomatometer system. But I’m quite honored you felt the need to read my posts.

TBH I think the RT score is complete BS. The binary system applied to each critic (ā€œdid they like the movie or notā€) forbids any nuanced opinion. I can ā€œlikeā€ a dumb but entertaining Dwayne Johnson action movie and a Pixar masterpiece, but not in the same way or at the same level. IIRC that’s why Kotaku dropped the…

And how exactly is that relevant to the quality of thisĀ movie in particular?

WTF does it have to do with the topic ?

I never, ever read user reviews. Not even a glance at the score. As a user, it’s an utterly useless metric.

ā€œMost of us have back catalogues comprised of hundreds of titlesā€
