The math is simple: if all your female characters are whores and/or victims, you are a manly-man writer who can't figure out women.
I see that on a lot of fictions.
Sometimes the female characters are ugly old witches too. But every manly-man story got only these 3 female cliches : slutty whores, innocent victims…
