It’s crazy to think that a top fuel dragster can do this in ~.4 sec but that’s with 10,000+ hp and a HUGE contact patch and friction coefficient. Next up...electric cars that shunt you to 60mph as you blink.

My thoughts...

I loved my 1983 Honda Civic 5 speed. However I had more than a few honks trying to accelerate up an on ramp.

Am I the only one that think he looks like Jeremy Clarkson in that picture?

Was my first time attending an ARX/WRX race and was so much fun. The sounds, the smells, the ripping off of body panels. The added bonus was they tacked on a Cars and Coffee today as well. Finally got to see the 22B in person. I will definitely be attending this race again next time it comes to COTA. As a side note it

I hope this counts... I was living in Lexington, KY and out for a drive in my Suzuki gsxr 600, not realizing the UK (University of Kentucky Basketball) traffic was letting out right on the road that I was driving on. As they merged into the road, I began trying my hardest not to get run over but drunk-excited people.

I’m confused...Is your argument against technology advancement, entitlement, or both? I’m not complaining about having more speed out of my crappy corolla than almost any car from the 50's but I would love more.

Maybe it’s just me but it sounds like someone who creates Anime was asked for the name. “Super Mega Awesome Fast Number 1"

Is Cars & Coffee a “show up and show off” event, or is there any organization or leadership structure at all? I wish there was a way to blacklist the people that pull off this sort of shit. How about a magical wall we could just throw up in front of the car that decides to vent his douche nozzle? WHY DOESN’T HARRY

Apparently the Elise was an amazing car...like a seventh street whore everyone’s used it; Tesla, Hennessey, PG Electrus, pretty sure Ford and Dodge used the platform for an EV, and now these guys used one AND appears they got the aforementioned lady for their video. Well done.

A vehicle capable of ~.63hp/pound. It might corner like a brick but holy hell that's some get-up-an-die...err...I mean get-up-an-go.
