I find light knowing that we still live in the best country in the world, even though it is filled with flawed people. Some may choose tear us apart over competing ideologies, but the vast majority of citizens (Republican, Democrat and everywhere in-between) are good.

Silencing voices you don’t like, or disagree with, doesn’t make your stance better. It just creates echo chambers, and those are as wholly destructive as the perception of those voices you wish to silence.

I always find saying that the persistent interrupter’s name helps stop interruptions. i.e. “Susan or John, I know that you will have questions but please let me say my piece and then all of us can address your concerns”

When you say partisan news networks, is that similar to all of the news networks that only contained articles about Trump’s hurtful words instead of Clinton’s acts of treason? The same ones that had Clinton winning the election by 10%? Are those similar? Or do they not fit your agenda?
