Crushed velour.
Crushed velour.
She could have ordered this
And no-one was ashamed of it! Just look at this old footage of American traffic in the early 1970's. Nary a gray car in the bunch:
Here’s the thing: this body style was literally marketed by Cadillac as a sedan. This was to differentiate it from the open-top Phaeton. This particular model is the five-passenger sedan. There was also a longer-roof edition that could hold seven.
Damn, used car prices are out of control. Ten years ago a ten year old car was just half its new price, now a hundred year old jalopy is FOUR WHOLE TIMES its new car price.
My region is the same way. No real mass transit so without a car, you are totally fucked.
Its a reskinned Honda Pilot with a super ugly grill for extra $10k+++... 2020 the year of ugly grills or what?
You need to keep that car forever. Teach her to drive in it. Give it to her when she goes to college. Brass baby slippers got nothing on this car. You can literally give her the room where it happened. Sure, once she understands she may never sit in that seat again, but a minor disadvantage...
Indeed, should be thankful it wasn’t in an old Audi S4 because Logan Penelope and siblings would be panhandling for lunch money.
1st gear - the used car market is bizarre. I had a 2015 MK7 GTI S 6MT with 115k miles and KBB was valuing this at $8600 tops for private sale. Carvana was offering me about $9k with Vroom a few hundred behind$17k. A local VW dealer with their used car arm bit on my FB ad and bought it from me for $11. I see that they…
lol free, our taxes pay for it, still wouldn’t trade it for US style healthcare though.
A 99' mk4? Yeah first year of any of their platforms is often risky. Especially when production moves to a new factory in that year.
5th gear: WE WANT MORE MONNAY!
Fancy Kristen in a Pointiac Vibe???
I get fleeing the US. I don’t get the Chrysler. Europe has a zillion storied brands with amazing pedigrees and he grabbed a poorly built American shitbox.
We still pay for the healthcare through taxes. I have lived in both NY and Canada and my taxes are higher here than they were in NY (a state known for having high taxes already). The problem in the US is that everybody wants more services AND lower taxes.
You can navigate the used car market successfully if you are patient and act quickly when the right deal comes up. There are lots of private sellers that aren’t really in tune with the changing used car market place.
All that aside, $5k for a hateful s-box like the Vibe? Those were never even a DECENT car. Doubt they aged well either, since they disappeared from the roads about as fast as the Kia Sophia.
Jay Ward, another company spokesman, said Tuesday.
