I'm so used to reading the AVClub reviews of Arrow that this review just seems bizarre, especially the love for Laurel.

I was gonna ask if Marvel might count. DC have been resetting with a crisis every so often, but Marvel just have their sliding timeline thing, where essentially everything since FF #1 is gospel, to a degree.

The discrepancy between FOX programming and FOX News will never make sense to me.

I think all you can really ever hope for any politician to do is set things in motion, if they can battle the opposition. He's got a couple years to set things in motion, I don't see what he or his party would have to gain from not doing so.

I've never seen a remake as inexplicably hated on as this movie. It'll be interesting to see what the general reception is like upon release, because what I'm seeing and what people who seem to be very attached to the original are seeing...it's two different things.
