Okay, so, OBVIOUSLY the internet is going to be flooded with BTTF stuff in two years and OBVIOUSLY there will be a commemoration of the beloved franchise. Surely, SURELY one of the affiliated brands will want in on the surrounding hype. What I'm trying to say is, if I can't, at the very least, buy a Pepsi Perfect in

That little hammer breaking up rocks cracked me up for some reason.

This is the second time today I've read someone writing that TDKR ended in France. What the hell?

Well put. It's the fairies-at-the-bottom-of-the-beautiful-garden thing.

"Perhaps the President should misspeak more often—after all, he managed to create a powerful meme and quickly use it to bring even more attention to an important political issue.

That would be hilarious.

Obvious thing to do is just make it small and metal and be some kind of concussive shock arrow shaped like a little boxing glove.

They're laying an insane amount of groundwork, I think this show will be unrecognizable in season two or three (if it gets there).

I love that you ended your comment with your screen name. It is a great screen name for this reason.

Anybody else watch this and just think 'yawns are freaking weird, man'?

uhuh

The Entire History of You was the best episode of the last season, and this was very close to that in spirit, I enjoyed it a lot. Not quite as good as TEHOY, but still very good. I loved the exploration of a relationship through a sci-fi lens, reminiscent of Eternal Sunshine and AI.

He's stealthy as hell when the opposition is using night vision. Seal Team 616 call him "twinkletoes".

I wouldn't consider what Abrams has done with the franchise "damage".

Not really dude, it looks like they took the mouthpiece off of a Ralph McQuarrie Vader and put ridges on the head. Not seeing Cylon there at all.

It's not "just a copy", it's heavily influenced by it and, yes, I knew that. So?

Wouldn't be surprised if Shredder was a direct homage to Silver Samurai, seeing as how TMNT was originally a parody of Daredevil and that's where Silver Samurai made his first appearance.

So happy I'm not the only one slightly bothered by that. It seems silly, given how ubiquitous the 'evil scar' is, but....I dunno.

I still can't get over Abrams turning Klingons into Darth Vader and no one losing their shit over it.
