Yeah, but you responded to me saying "I'm talking about Into Darkness" with "no, we were talking about Into Darkness", which…doesn't make any sense?

THAT'S WHAT YOU GET, SON!
…what? I responded to a comment about Into Darkness, stating my opinion of it, someone mistakenly responded as though I were talking about RotS and I tried to clarify that Into Darkness was the subject at hand. What're YOU talking about?
I was taking about Into Darkness.
It's still a vocal minority, rather than "everyone", the reviews were overwhelmingly positive, and I personally don't see it as a massive step down from the first film. I think it was a mistake obscuring Khan's identity and resurrecting Kirk so soon after killing him, but that's about it when it comes to complaints.
I think the failings of that movie are greatly exaggerated.
"Apparently it’s some kind of sequel to one of the most popular film trilogies of all time and also one of the least popular film trilogies of all time"
I wouldn't have said is was a dislike, more of a disinterest. It isn't a character he had any affection for, as Venom just wasn't part of the Spider-Man mythos as he grew up with it.
SO GOOD.
I defy anybody to watch that Sandman origin sequence and not recognise a good movie in there somewhere. I much prefer it to the Amazing efforts from Marc Webb.
You'll be in good company.
From ghetto to ghetto, to backyard to yard

On or off the track

Sorry my love, what I'm seeing through these eyes

Quite possibly the least cool popular Beatles track.
I'm actually more worried about it massively distorting his legacy than anything else. If 'Happy' had gone to Cee Lo as originally intended and Pharrell had dressed as a normal person to that awards ceremony, none of this would have happened!
I resent the implication that any of those collaborations are annoying!
I have an ongoing argument with a colleague who is greatly amused by how much her dismissive attitude towards Pharrell (one of my favourite humans) angers me. I was saying to her, the guy has been producing some of the most beloved records of our lives, how can you trivialise him? Her response was that she "probably…
I have an issue with people who deem Pharrell "the hat guy" and act like he came out of nowhere with 'Happy' and 'Get Lucky'. Where have you been?!
"Can we like Star Wars, Star Trek and Doctor Who equally"
Same, I think Clara is pretty bland, though I enjoyed her most if not all of last series. I just feel like inheriting a companion has held Capaldi back (I still miss Smith, maybe I always will) and I really thought they were giving her a nice send off, paving the way for a new companion. Alas.
I'd be sold on Captain Rosario Dawson or Captain John Cho.
