Actually, I think mine had cards only. I don’t remember any figurines on mine. Could be the one I had as a kid was a later edition.

Playing by traditional rules will have the game done in less than an hour.
Haven’t played board games in a long, long time, but I always loved Guess Who (which I guess isn’t technically a board game) as well as the old-school TMNT game.
I have 19 tabs open right now. Not closing any of them anytime soon.
I’ve seen a baseball telecast with no announcers. It wasn’t a pretty sight.
They can’t because of a deal with the NCAA. Hence why they do run games on Saturday nights once the college football season ends.
I’ve seen a couple announcer-less games before and all of them were boring as hell. Unless you’re watching it in a party with a bunch of friends to talk to and have a high-end surround sound system so that you can pump in the stadium noise throughout the room, it’s just a pale imitation of being at the game.
The Japanese tournament is being held months earlier, so I don’t see why a Japanese dude couldn’t compete in both.
Back when I was in school (this was back in the 90's), there were students who refused to do the pledge of allegiance during homeroom. Most of my teachers who had students that did that asked that they at least stood up. They didn’t have to put their hands over their hearts nor did they have to actually say the…
Better than Gundam-san, at least.
I personally adore intros. I have at least a hundred songs on my MP3 player that are theme songs from various shows that I can never get out of my head. Fuck, there are shows that I watch JUST for the intro. And that’s just Western-created content. As an anime fan, I always love seeing what cool intros and catchy…

Probably Pro Controller, though you also might want to pick up some grips for using the JoyCons sideways. I’ve heard these are good: https://www.amazon.com/dp/B06XZ1V1VB/
Plus, since most of the games are on broadcast television, it also one of those things that you can technically enjoy without spending any extra money whatsoever.
Comet is also airing a Godzilla double feature every Saturday (and the films then go on regular rotation elsewhere on the schedule) and airs two episodes of Mystery Science Theater 3000 every Sunday night.
Because Grit airs about 12 hours of Chuck Norris a day.
For Hill, this was, more or less, a one-time thing. Admittingly, I don’t follow Hill closely, but I don’t think she calls out the White House or Trump as being racist’s often.
Uh, Japan is 1,000 times more racist than we are. White and black people can live there, but are rarely accepted as one of them.
It’s on NFL Network. Pretty easy to ignore.
Switch in Japan is also getting a Free-to-Play version of Phantasy Star Online 2.
