As a huge G.I. Joe fan as a kid, I loved the Street Fighter sub-line. I even got a bunch of the vehicles.

I wish they at least had new looks or kept their most recent look (AG for Misty, DP for Brock). Still, they look better than Jessie and James do.

To be fair, the anime never actually stated what being a Pokémon Master actually entailed. You would say beating the Elite Four & Champion, but it’s been stated several times in the episode that it isn’t the case. Er, the anime does shit like this all the time. Advanced Generation brought back Ash’s Bulbasaur for an episode when May caught one, then brought back Charizard (twice!), Squirtle, Bulbasaur, Snorlax, and Phanpy for Battle Frontier.

That would require either a) getting rid of Pikachu, which will never happen, or b) have every main character capture a Pikachu, which will get old after a while.

It’s been a while since I’ve played any Mario Kart aside from 7 or 8 in years, so most of my recent memories are from them.
