It’s actually drawing in a LOT of interest from non-DB fighting game fans because it’s being developed by Arc Systems. It’s almost guaranteed a spot at Evo and I wouldn’t be surprised if it gets some TV airtime as an option outside of Street Fighter.

The hair darkens a bit if you select the same character, but Goku doesn’t suddenly gain purple hair if you switch colors, especially since modern Dragonball has given different Super Saiyan hair colors to different forms.

Nerd counterpoint: King Kai can do Instant Transmission too. There’s also a Yardratian in the Universe Survival Arc in Super that can use the move as well. All the Supreme Kais can use a variation of the move too.

Just note that the Abridged version flanderizes the characters something fierce. Particularly Goku and Vegeta. Trunks is more or less the only major character who’s written the same in Abridged and in the original show.

As much as I like DBZ Abridged, they do skip a few plot points that are explained in the show but unexplained in DBZA. Also, they flanderize the characters something HARD. It’s even affected Super.
