I went to a big school for hockey in the USA (Miami University) and we sent plenty of guys to the NHL. We played a few Canadian Schools too during the pre-season so I'd imagine it's the same.

Those are the best players that do that. I know plenty of guys at my school alone that left college to play in the NHL and who had contracts waiting while in College.

You know I have to say that based on what I've seen from Colleges the frats/sororities that did that stuff just got better at covering it up vs. stopping.

Or translation. Someone actually gave a shit and reported it but, instead we'll pretend like everyone sat back and did nothing and they magically found this out.

Are you kidding me? Have you ever played hockey before? The only sports that would be worse Co-Ed would be Football and MMA. I can't imagine the amount of broken women you'd carry off the ice under college rules with college level athletes if you even attempted this.

I'd have to say your last part is off. Players play juniors and then can go to College, get drafted, and play there while waiting to be called up. I know of 3 such players at the school I was at that did just that.

To be fair the "Lamb roasting" never said rape them. It could very well be consensual. That being said carry on.

Well unless you have a way of reading minds that will hold up good luck with that one. Seriously, half the reason Rape is a hard to punish crime is that often it's a he said, she said deal. Imagine trying to sue someone over them "knowing what was going on". I can't think of a single lawyer who'd waste their time with

Yeah I went to Miami University and the Hockey games were more crowded than Football or Baskeball. Especially if we were playing Notre Dame or Michigan.

I'd like to know the same thing. The only thing I can think of is that they are technically part of the same organization (the NBA) and that as a legal entity once a team has a right to the others sort of do by proxy.

I keep seeing this wack job protesting on the TV every couple weeks on Comedy Central...

Yeah I don't get that either. I'd say the ruling was right as is has to do with public assembly and free speech in public areas but, the write up comes off biased for sure.

Well all of the Miami Heat fans needed something to do.

Hamilton Nolan is that you? What are you doing on Jalopnik!

Well take 15/219,000 (according to Wikipedia as of 2013) and you get .0000685%! I'd say that's a nice culture change as well!

You know in court ignorance isn't an excuse so why is it when it comes to this?

I'd love to hear her try to answer these 2.

6) Why did GM replace Cadillac SRX ignition switches for shut-off issues but not replace similarly defective switches in Cobalt or other compact cars? Is it true, Ms. Barra, that damages are often tied to family income level and that a defect in a Cadillac is likely to cause

After the recall thing came out I said to myself well that's why Mark Reuss wasn't promoted instead. Let Barra try to weather the PR storm and if she does great GM benefits if not jettison her hang it around her neck and promote Reuss and claim a clean slate.

I'm sure "she'll investigate his story and weeks later be still investigating his actions in old GM."
