These are not called Gamma-ray bursts (GRBs). They are called Terrestrial gamma flashes (TGFs) and are distinctly different from GRBs. They are both detected by the Gamma-ray Burst Monitor onboard the Fermi telescope, but GRBs are the result of the collapse of super massive stars in the early Universe. Just a heads up

I have 3 HDMX Jams. Extremely small and powerful for what I paid for them. I purchased the 1st one about a year ago and was so pleased with it's performance I now own 3. On sale at Walmart for under $30 and IMO can't be beat for the price. Has good high range as well as a pretty massive thump for such a small speaker.

Life is kinda nice like that. ;-)
