Am I seriously the only that wants one for a pet?

Considering how eager the USAF has been over the decades to have a nuclear-powered long-range bomber, I'm kind of surprised that they haven't anteed up for this.

I haven't found any spectacular specimens myself, just the run-of-the-mill shell fossils on the side of a road and such, but the most awesome one I have seen personally is an opalized fossil of (as I recall) an early kangaroo on loan to the Sydney Natural History Museum. The whole thing was opal, and it's amazing

Totally tentacular

How much surface area does this thumbprint sensor have?

Note to self: buy light-bulbs

Of course, this still doesn't resolve the problem of mutilating cranksets falling from the sky...

Does it come with a paddle? I can only imagine the rescuer dog paddling to the victim...

A 5GHz radio would be a different component.

Breathing? How are they freakin' breathing?

If only Amazon would get with the program and support direct streaming...

Maybe the Sonic Screwdriver isn't the best example.

Obviously there is much more work to be done here, but I can only hope that the details of these sensors will be made available to the public— there are a number of makers who have done much to improve prosthetics for everyday people (3D printed arms and hands, etc), and I think that things would progress rather

I guess it's a good thing that Nick Cage Superman movie never made it to the big screen then...

PG&E in California pays according to their peak/off-peak schedule, so facing the panels west would benefit the owner of the panels in that jurisdiction.

It's worth investigating, for certain... I have to hand out a lot of papers to people who will not return any clips, etc. so this may work for me.

That one puts holes in the paper, and it isn't very effective, in my experience.

Just wait until the cat gets to it...

Because back in the early days of pencilling, it was indeed made of lead.

I see what you did there.
