Worst game this year that I've actually finished was Bioshock Infinite. About on par with the original (if not worse) and not as good as Bioshock 2. The setting often didn't even feel like a floating city and the story was just muddled and silly.

1) Bioderp Infinite. Plot out of the cheesiest fanfiction.

Easily Bioshock Infinite. The developers put so much effort into making the setting and story "artsy", which I might have been able to respect if they had put anywhere near as much effort into making the gameplay worthwhile.
