I didn’t get a Switch until last Christmas and I didn’t get a PS4 (Pro) until a month or so before The Last Of Us: Part II was released (I have an older gaming PC which is where I play most third party games).

He would have gotten away with it if not for that meddling Lewy body dementia.

Haven’t been around many Asians, huh?

Noo. :( I think they got rid of that mechanic — if you’re logged out for a while, the pet gets unhealthy, but doesn’t actually die anymore. Because that was just upsetting.

Damn, I’m not going to ask they continue developing when the situation is obviously complicated, but I am really sad to hear it is dead. I’ve been it like four times (fresh and new game plus) and was really excited to beat it again if they added new characters eventually. Hope the developers can find a better

This is my first time skipping a console generation as I’ve finally managed to get into PC. Not because hurr durr master race, but the way my life is now (kid, job, mortgage etc) I just can’t justify the expense anymore. Honestly, it’s a weird sensation and I’m slightly jealous - there’ll always be an emotional

Sony should leave Japan’s mappings the same and change the rest of the world. I’m real tired of confirm/cancel being opposite on Sony and Nintendo consoles

This one is giving me so much Cdr. Riker energy that I have no choice but to vote PS5.

What happens when they find out you don’t?

Meh, what do you expect? Change for the sake of change....

See, that’s why I want a Mitsubishi mirage: I want people to think I have a massive hog

The hidden blade can be a full-blown deer.

Kind of hard to feel bad for a company that for the better part of 15 years, has committed an unholy trifecta of disrespecting their employees, customers, and their own product.

Yeah but this is how it starts. Gamestop hasn’t really been relevant since like 2009. nobody likes being aggressively harangued about preordering games and magazine subs. nobody’s going there to buy expensive joker statues and hundreds of thousands of funko pops. It’s dead and it just doesn’t know it yet, and in a lot

I know this is so random, but I read ACNH not as “Animal Crossing: New Horizons”, but rather “Assassin’s Creed: New Hampshire”.

Well if it wasn't already apparent, i wouldn't trust preordering any next gen consoles at gamestop! Them circling the drain almost greentrees they won't be getting alot of stock of next gen consoles & games 🤔

Original art. Reds faded from sun exposure.🙁

I interned at a studio here a few years ago and the main audio engineer was also friends with Ernest Hood. He brought up this album a whole bunch while I worked there, and had mentioned trying to get it re-issued since he housed the masters. Pretty cool to see that it finally worked out, and is getting great reviews.

As a native Portlander whose early existence probably bumps up against some of the later footage in that video, and who has the same irrationally utopian retrospective view of the city a lot of people who grew up there in 70s, 80s, and 90s do, I’m feeling some heartstrings here.

Holy crap! My dad was friends with Ernie, I met him several times. He was memorable to my very young self for being so friendly and affable despite being trapped in his wheelchair. I need to double check but I believe that original album cover art is still hanging in our house. I remember the cassette tapes Ernie
