It’s too easy to confuse an intolerance reaction with an allergy, but it’s often easier to just say “I’m allergic” rather than getting into a technical discussion on the spot when you’re just trying to have a night out with friends.

My old man was a Museum worker and active historian. A lot of my childhood was spent in a hidden lab, watching him, recording on VHS one of his friends restoring 1400's manuscripts with oxgut, and recreating Turkish marbling. (do NOT confuse the jars in the fridge when making Tea)

For black Friday, I got the kids up at 6:50 am, fed them a good breakfast, and off to the doctor’s office at 8 am, for a round of flu shots at 8:15. No lines!
