Oh please. Outside of VR, immersion is a joke.

I know all kinds of rich people who ride transit here in Toronto. (I’m one of them.) The world is a lot bigger than you think, man. Many Americans (but certainly not all) tend to have this impression that they know how things are like elsewhere. I’m kind of embarrassed for you.

Just admit you don’t quite understand the world outside your bubble.

I’m a white-collar manager in marketing who lives in the SF Bay area and before COVID I took the train every day to work. It was faster and less stressful than commuting on the 101 during rush hour, I’m mostly remote now but whenever I go into the office I still take the train.

My north american morning bus commute was (before I switched to work from home) absolutely filled with upper income white collar folks like myself and the dude in this commercial. Not sure what you’re on about besides stereotyping. Bus commuting simply makes more sense.

Public transit is good and not a sign of class or status if you use it.

(could also be a lot of places in Australia have perfectly fine and functional public transport, which is convenient to use and a lot cheaper than paying for parking)

Aiden Gillen is from The Wire, but Lance Reddick is from... Destiny.

Funny how tastes work. I saw this video and went from anticipation to disappointment. I'll likely be skipping this one after playing literally every other Zelda title. Feels like they are doubling down on everything that made BotW my least favorite Zelda game.

And wish they had build a world and characters that made me care for them, a world just a sandbox to dick around where your actions don't rly make any difference... They could've combined BotW with MM world and characters but instead we just get more Lego blocks

“And remember, if the women don’t find ya handsome, they should at least find ya handy!”

I cut HBO Max from my streaming budget and I don’t miss it at all. After I finished up with my Venture Bros rewatch I found I didn’t need it at all.

There’s a few ppl out there who have been watching Days of our Lives since 1965. That's commitment. Q

lol

I’ve never heard of this guy before, just like I’ve rarely heard of any of the other YouTube or Twitch personalities you routinely post about outside of this website.

What a fucking weird thing to tweet about. Like, in the hellscape of awful shit capitalism has caused, this doesn’t even rate, but I just do not understand the mindset of noticing this and then thinking it’s a good idea to ask your fans to do it.

God I love this movie, and it’s why I stand up for Will Ferrell as a damn fine actor. (Also, dude’s a good jobbing actor - like Christopher Walken if it offers him paycheque he takes it because he has kids to put through school and does not give a fuck about you holding him to some kind of rarified standard about what

Full co-sign, and I feel the same way about Jim Carrey’s role in Truman Show

Or maybe we can all stop being stupid and realize that the big three are all trash. Nintendo sucks ass just as much as Sony which sucks ass just as much as Microsoft which sucks ass just as much as literally every corporation in the world.
