I’ve started using Franz as my desktop chat client, and I have to say, I love it. It’s clean, it’s modern, it works, and it’s all in one place. I tried Pidgin but I felt like I was in a time machine back to Windows 98. The plugins are helpful, but I just needed something basic. Franz did the trick.
