“1984" is camp.

At a recent fan event, Tom Holland confirmed the film’s Elementals came to Earth through a dimensional rift caused by Thanos snapping his fingers with the Infinity Gauntlet.

I will say, the Kings also gave us the very bonkers, occasionally uneven but (to my mind) satisfying “BrainDead” so they’re not without genre cred in my book. And they get some great work out of Colter (I loved his Good Wife character, who was both incredibly menacing and deeply charming). 

Mostly, that’s because the film really only stars three Transformers: Bee, as well as the Decepticons Shatter (voiced by Angela Bassett) and Dropkick (voiced by Justin Theroux), who are on Earth hunting for him.

It’s so weird to say this, but I want them to stop releasing clips. This movie looks so good— I’m sold. Stop giving away your movie!

No joke this cast is getting more and more stacked. I’m cautiously excited the Birds of Prey might just be OK. 

I do wonder if the Runaways, as in the comics, will run into any members of the Skrull race. Could make for an interesting tie to Captain Marvel.

The second trailer sure makes it look like Ralph is a goat that sounds like a human:

What I get from this is they gave Kate a team to lead but left out two very crucial team members who are super miffed they didn’t get a call.

Tom Holland’s complete inability to keep secrets continues to delight.

Vis-à-vis next week’s “Supergirl,” I have not seen Laurie Metcalfe so disrespected since this year’s Oscars Ceremony.

Like a rude orgy participant, Ready Player One insistently rubs itself on you in ways that it thinks will turn you on, whispering “talk nerdy to me” into your ear constantly, and with increasing insistence. Depending on your kink, the frottage will work at times, but the movie drags when the nostalgia stops for one…

It was a very physical character. To play somebody with her kind of issues was something I’d never done before. The way she looks at life is a little skewed.
