They look like dicks to a very tiny segment of the fan-base, who is even aware this exists and doesn’t think it sucks. Very small. No offense, but their success depends on people who don’t care about this, not you.

I don’t think they needed to look at a fan project to come up with the earth-shattering idea of making a new series from their long-running, multi-series franchise.
