What the eff are you going on about? GM and Ventec decided to work on production and releases a statement with firmer production estimates. After the fact, Trump enacts the DPA and then trashes GM for not moving on production? Everyone agreed it was a good idea, then Trump pretends to take credit and mucks it up

He should have ordered ventilators in January.

Trump has spent weeks sitting on his tiny hands, letting people suffer and die because he’s too chickenshit to do the job he was elected to do. Now that GM has started making ventilators of their own accord, Trump has decided it’s now safe and popular enough to pretend it was his idea all along. He’s a goddamn fucking

I like Icon stuff, but Jonathan Ward definitely gets high on his own farts.

I dont like SUV’s/crossovers. But this? I might have to check out. I’m just not ready for another round of dealer price gouging, which is going to turn off a bunch of potential buyers but keep it enabled because of all the ones that are willing to pay $30k over sticker.

It’s easy to make cheap things cheaply it turns out.

It’s about getting attention.  As long as they have somewhere with a big crowd to egg them on they won’t really care if it’s legal or not.

Meanwhile here in BC, we have people moving next to a racetrack that’s been there since before I was born, and then bemoaning the fact a racetrack has car noise.

or become the president.

It sounds more like the drivers approached the police and asked if they could organize an event off the streets where people could go, and the cops signed off on it.

If we can’t do it on the streets how else am I going to tell the pizza guy to find another way?

I say bravo to the Chief on this. He doesn’t want to waste time and resources on chasing knuckleheads and understands the reason they’re doing dumb shit on the street is they have no where else to go, so he gave them a place to go.

> Crowd of that size

People want to do dangerous things. Nothing will keep them from doing dangerous things. Providing an outlet like this greatly diminishes the chance of OTHERS getting hurt from these actions. Seems like a win/win. Idiots get to be dangerous, innocent bystanders (those choosing not to be involved) stay safe.

I think this is certainly a step in the right direction... it might not be 100% safe, but many forms of motorsport are not (look at rallying in Europe where people stand inches away from cars tumbling out of control). Giving people a legal way to have fun with their cars is the right move, because then it makes

Extremely punchable.

Dude looks exactly like I expected he would.

I only person to blame are the airlines. If the seats recline, you should be able to recline them. If they airlines reduce the pace so much that it interferes with the person behind you, then that’s the fault of the airlines...Period end of story

Also, would you all mind captioning this stuff so those of us whose ears are exhaust-battered can enjoy?
