Your “a gap is a gap” rule is a bit misleading. If I’m leaving a car-length gap, it’s for safety. You cutting in and making the gap 3 inches forces everyone to slow down.

I think writing a ticket takes at least 10 minutes, so that and then some.

That dickbag forcing his way in after the part where the highway engineers had lines painted on the road that said “don’t merge here, asshole” causes a ripple back through the line that causes me to be late to work an hour after he did it, because people had to brake for him to fit in and the chain reaction has begun.

There were more dangerous actions here than just crossing a solid white line.

I’d say holding him up for an example to the rest is a public service.

This isn’t a zipper maneuver. Zipper is when you’re in a lane that’s disappearing. You should keep your lane until it fully disappears and merge into the other line at that point.

I wish they would do this to the people on my commute home EVERY SINGLE DAY. Not only do they cut the whole line, but they run up the center lane then sometiems literally stop in it trying to merge. I’ve had several near misses where I’d be following a truck of SUV that would swerve when one nailed their brakes and

correct way to merge, but dont cut a long line of cars to do it. That exit ramp had a line already formed way back at the start of the video. He skipped the entire line because “mr important was running late”

Good. Seriously fuck this guy and everybody like him. They actually slow traffic down because everybody needs to brake to let them in.

“I’m not racist, I have a black passenger seat.”

I actually think the styling isn’t that bad. If they would have given it the guts and off road capability of the wrangler, I could look past the interior quality and see it as a fun little thing. Sort of like a modern Suzuki Samurai.

New car to him. Used Lexus.

Because they can?

No matter the config, the new one will be faster. That said, they did compare a Super Cab to a Crew Cab, so the weight disadvantage for the old one is amplified falsely.

There is. Mechanically: ECU tunes and injectors, exhaust systems.... Aesthetically, retrofitting GTI exterior and interior bits on a Golf, ...

Stereos, intakes, car seats, headlights, etc.

This is going to suck for the people removing their aftermarket parts but do not have their OEM part anymore.

Only the R is still only built in Germany. And only for now, until the Mexican plant gets retooled for the newer Haldex system, from what I’ve heard. Engines are built in Hungary even now, though.

You realize that people at the dealership aren’t corporate PR people right? They just work at the dealership.
