This is something a car person would pick up on. Someone who knows nothing about cars (which I wouldnt be surprised if its the majority of the population) dual exhaust looks high performance.

But hey; people are asinine. someone who knows nothing about cars may look at a car , perhaps 2 nearly identical cars with the difference of; one has two chrome exhaust tips sticking out the back. the other, has a single not soo visible exhaust. Many people seem to think dual exhaust is a signal of a larger(therefore

A transportation design prof I had in school, attributed the trend of making exhausts less prominent to the move towards being more environmentally sound/ green cars. since the exhaust is where the "bad stuff" (Ie. exhaust) comes from. So by hiding them its kind of a way tricking some people into seeing it as more

But really, nearly every car looks exponentially better when lowered(even just an inch or 2 from stock) adding bigger wheels also adds to this effect.

Re, the headline image. That colour scheme; all I can see is Oscar Mayer

From what I gather this is a Japanese take on the North American take on "Euro (Ie. VW)" Tuning/ styling culture. For a Japanese take on US style I expected Torque Thrust wheels, maybe a raised up rear, hood scoop, what else I cant think of anything at the moment.

I learned that after I posted, and I stand corrected. But my argument still stands. His idea was built off seeing other cars with certain styling trends, which are not unique at this point, especially with older Japanese tuner cars. You'll find Miatas, supras, rx7s, etc with fender flares. He merely appropirated them

All this guy did with his Camaro was pick and choose styling trends, its nothing all that unique when you break it down; Matte black paint, fender flares, a front splitter. A quick good search and I found 2 examples of cars that use similar trends. This guy has nothing all that unique or special, if anything its

Dear people; Stop with the comic book hero themed car customising.

Im thinking photomode is a given at this point. Considering they introduced the PhotoStream feature last year. It seems PD has taken note on how people use the game. And some take Photomode to a whole nother level and helped people share their pics.

I spent this past weekend absolutely hooked on Euro Truck Simulator 2. With the G27 it is super fun shifting gears and hauling along the highway. I have also gained a new respect for truckers who make backing up with trailers look effortless.

I'll admit, I like the looks of the 130R Concept. Its needs a little massaging but the idea is nice.

Car videos are fun. But now they have gotten soo cliche that I now feel, once you've seen one, you've seen them all.

It's becoming more common for Pre-Pay only, especially after a highly publicized death in the Toronto area last summer. Just over the past all the stations on my route to/from work have gone pay before.

I test drove a Trax last night and it's a pretty nice vehicle. However the first time I saw that commercial a month or so ago, I immediately hated it (the commercial) Not for the the racism in the song but just the whole commercial in general. It's an example of how vehicle marketing makes me want cars less than

I wouldn't say this is a "new trend". Since everyone I have known who has a quick release steering wheel installed in their car since about 2003 has done this trick within the first week or so of installing it. So Im guessing that this has been done ever since the first quick release wheel.

Now playing

This is the best military testing video Ive seen:

Chevy sonic. It's annoying commercials and stunts have gotten on my nerve.

It looks as though someone bumped into the fender with thier vehicle, stopped. then accelerated back to get away, hence the straight lines then sudden rise up and back. It can't be from a key its in too odd a location, usually when you see a keyed vehicle its along the large surfaces with longer strokes, not tightly

One that kind of bothers me if off centre trunk handles. Often people instinctively grab for middle of the handle, but the release is off to one side. It may not be in the wheel well but its a minor annoyance. But I suppose they need the middle section for the License plate light.
