I think the DA and even the sheriff were all too happy to accept that the implication was that she was afraid of Daniel, but that's not really what Chris articulated. She was afraid he'd find out she had sex with someone else, which is completely natural.

I think Trey went back and killed her before Daniel got there to be with Hanna. And I agree that Trey seemed about as near 100% confident as possible that Daniel didn't do it when he was in Janet's kitchen.

Interestingly, that articles refers to Daniel as "an innocent man". First time I'd ever seen that. I don't know if he's innocent or guilty, and quite honestly, don't even care. It's such a small part of the story and really has nothing to do with what makes this a great show. Just find it interesting.

No, statute of limitations have passed so he's safe like Bill Cosby. If within the statute of limitations, prosecutor would still likely need the victim to confirm the events, if not agree to testify, before charges would be filed.

She said no. She did not want to have sex. Teddy "wore her down" physically. That's rape.

What Teddy did is rape. The woman said no and he, in his own words, wore her down until they had sex. Teddy raped a woman when he was younger. It's good that he tells his brother to not be like him, but a person shouldn't have to tell their brother, "don't rape a woman like I did."
