I honestly really like the look of the standard PS3 Slim with the matte-black finish. I'm a sucker for the stealth look I guess, although a carbon fiber case might be equally as sexy.

For a simple analogy, who was more popular in school?: The handsome jock who is captain of the football team? Or the highly intelligent, future- theoretical scientist?

I just watched the Gametrailers review and it may have convinced me to pick this up when it comes out. I've enjoyed and beaten every Gears so far, but up until now I'd had the nagging feeling of sameness from this.
