Shark Shocker, how does it work?

Seeing some of the game's monsters in action (the Hydra looks phenomenal), I'm not willing to lose hope in it yet. Skyrim is a definite buy for me, but there's no evidence that I've seen that will sway me from this one. I'll withhold my judgments until I play it.

The game seems to do it's monsters really well. That Hydra was amazing looking.

Depending on how deep the characters, story and world are, this may be a sleeper hit on the horizon. The screen shots alone make me want to get in and walk around and interact with the world.
