Anyone who says writing is easy has probably never tried to write a well thought out, cohesive story that doesn’t have terrible dialogue and rely on cliches.

Eh the problem with this game isn’t it’s unfinished or buggy.  It’s just lame.  6 more months wasn’t going to turn this into a blockbuster.  Arkane tried something new and failed.  Happens sometimes.

Yeah, I’m not blaming the QA team for this one.  This game just isnt fun.  Not because of bugs.

Maam this is a video game website

My mind is blown. That was probably fifteen hundred words about how stereotypes and attitudes about fat people are being promoted by...a character that isn’t fat.

But how will my binary black hat/white hat worldview survive?

To everyone in the comments: It’s okay. You can admit what DeSantis is doing is absolutely an authoritative abuse of power without having to hem and haw about Disney to try and keep your “progressive” credibility.

Between this and ethan gach starting all his titles with “[company] steps up their war on [opponent]”, I am seriously wondering if kotaku is just written by an AI.

You sound like you would invalidate someone for enjoying weed the “wrong” way.

If it was REALLY realistic, the video would cut out before, during, and after every time you shoot someone.

Sounds less like “deck building”, and more like just “put these abilities/bonuses you’ve found into a limited number of slots for them.”  And they just happened to theme the collection of them as cards, instead of magic crystals, computer chips, or whichever.  You’re not drawing random cards and applying them every

I generally agree with you, but what about this system is related to deck building besides the superficial use of “cards” to symbolize what is essentially just a list of collectible perks? The game is an RPG. It feels like you’re dismissing an RPG element just because it communicates the element through cards.

we all thought that at one time or aother. but then we played a deck game and enjoyed it.

Also a lot of modern Lovecraft inspired work does engage with his awful racism and xenophobia - Lovecraft Country being one of many recent ones that included a TV show on HBO.

Turns out when you actively attempt to subvert and weaken government for years, your ability to take on a large corporation is limited.

I’m just looking forward to his decline into obscurity as he and his cult are buried and forgotten by the rise of GenZ voters.

I’m more than inclined to believe that there was no actual “prank” and it was likely just straight up harassment at the minimum.

Between none of the reporting describing the “prank” and a cursory view of their channel, in addition to their statement that they’ll continue “pranking”, I’m more than inclined to believe that there was no actual “prank” and it was likely just straight up harassment at the minimum.
