I absolutely respect why content warnings exist, but in a story like this, where it’s just mentioned as a plot point and not described in any way, doesn’t the content warning have the same amount of triggering content as the actual article? Does the warning help?

Dude, it’s exactly as useful unless you were depending on it to do all the damage. It’s arguably BETTER as a tank now that it evades more and its big strength was definitely keeping aggro for entire bossfights due to it being so hard to kill.

I’m not sure how I feel about this. In past soulsbourne games, there would be patches and fixes here and there, but few wholesale rebalancings. Mostly they seemed to target things like duping glitches and bugged out areas of the map. These kind of changes, like the person quoted in the second-to-last paragraph…

I respect the authorial intent of the creators and believe nothing should change their Perfect Immutable Artistic Vision, which is why I yanked out my ethernet cable the second the game asked me to update.
