It’d hard to draw any useful conclusions from Titanfall 2’s sales numbers because EA sent it out to die. As I recall, it dropped smack dab between major CoD and Battlefield releases? Which… Battlefield is also EA, and they didn’t even pretend to give it room to breathe. The fact that the community keeps bursting back…
As someone who doesn’t have a ton of time for gaming right now, I’m finding the looping mechanic rewarding as I can hop in for a half an hour or so and make progress, then go do real life stuff, then maybe knock out a level or two before bed. So many immersive sims require a large time commitment to be immersive, but…
I actually kind of dig going back to the same levels over and over with slightly different variations. It’s a game I feel that’s all about rewarding memorization and mastery, and there’s enough variety and discovery to still feel good hours later. It’s that same feeling I get when playing a Destiny strike ive played a…
In Japan, did they actually need to negotiate and pay for rights, or do their copyright laws allow stuff like this?
Slime is top tier isekai, IMO. You’ll know within 2 episodes whether it’s your kind of show or not. The first episode is a little slow. If you’re not super into it by the end of ep 2 you can move on.
The first season should feel like a nice complete package of anime, so I would definitely recommend it. (I haven’t started Season 2 yet myself!)
When I watched it yesterday and he started doing street fighter moves, I bust out laughing. It was so good
It’s not nearly as bad as this article makes it out to be. No mission takes anywhere near 30 mins and you can always save by leaving the map, which is always a few minutes away.
You are technically sacrificing what you *could* have gotten had you been able to spend more time in the zone, but another important thing to mention is that a good portion of your “progression” in the game is knowledge-based (where are the good abilities hidden, who drops the rare gun, where the best weapon upgrades…
I haven’t even gotten close to spending half an hour in a single zone yet, and it autosaves between zones, so you’ll probably be fine.
Yeah, this is a weird thread that could be scuttled if OP would just say “Eh, sorry, I’m just a bit dejected about the modern world,” which would be totally understandable.
The article is talking about representation in video games. High profile examples of well-executed diversity in big budget games IS a sign of progress of representation in videogames. Nobody is expecting, or asking, a videogame to solve racism or something, that’s your own weird stuff you’re bringing to the…
Okay let’s just not enjoy anything ever anymore.
I’ve always enjoyed GoW’s take on myth (even if it wasn’t any deeper than “who can we kill?”) so this is exciting to me.
... oh my god, I just realized that Kratos is LITERALLY ashy from head to toe. Thank you for making my morning full of laughter.
Removing branding for in game items is fine, but I wonder if they’ll replace the billboard with something generic and forgettable or do something weird and meta with it
I just played it on Steam last month, and Space Oddity was in it.
Does that mean my old copy from Steam could suddenly lose Space Oddity if I download it again?
Consider it a period piece :)
