Seriously guys, let’s stop picking on the project that has larger budget than GTA V.

GTA V being a game that released over 7 years ago, 3 years into the development of Star Citizen.

You sure taking a joke a bit too personally. How much money have you sunk into this scam  game?

It’s fun to check in on a dumpster fire and see if it is still burning nearly a decade later.

Here’s a little story.

Sol.

Whatever you do, don’t complain about the bugs in-game. Everyone will immediately jump down your throat about it being an alpha test and that you shouldn’t complain because the game isn’t done yet.

Stuns me people still defend this and will pony up more.

No wait, people will go to any length to not admit being duped.

Listen, I’ll take it.

I will with most games, yeah. It’s usually fine. Resident Evil 7 crashed once recently but autosave had me covered.

So there are people out there that just pause the game, turn off their Xbox and walk away? They trust that Quick Resume will work 100% of the time? If I have the option to save my game, I do that and then quit to the title screen. I don’t do that because of the time counter, but because I would be terrified Quick

And I’d wager that people who think the Mako handles like anything other than a hypnotically drunk slinky have never before played a video game with good vehicles in it.

xenophobes and misogynists

I was reading an unrelated article on there earlier and the people in the comment section were having a meltdown about IGN sponsoring Palestinian terrorism. I only visit the site during slow news weekends, but it’s a shame how the first video games website I frequented as a kid is now a cesspit for xenophobes and misog

Did they actually guess "class called Reaper that has an aspect of the void like a Stand he fights with" or did people actually just say "something with a Scythe" cause all I saw was the second one and none of the first.

Rather than replying directly to a dude who began an unsolicited request to alter Apple’s billion-dollar business plan with the word “y’all”

Not a save like that. A save where you save and it exits. When you reload, it deletes the save. So you can’t keep playing the save after you die(which doesn’t work for a roguelike), but you can play for 3 hours, do well, go have dinner with your family, let your kid play a game, and then resume where you left off.

Do you mean like a “temporary save” feature (like the owl statues in the original Majora’s Mask)? Because having a proper save system feels like it defeats the point of a roguelike. I haven’t played the game so I don’t know if there’s something in particular about this game that’s different than other roguelikes but a

It’s incredibly bizarre to me how many people are actually defending this. People on twitter and reddit just keep saying “git gud” when someone brings it up. No one is asking for a quick save so you can reload when something goes wrong or anything, just a way to be able to take a break without fear of losing a bunch

The fact that you can’t save and quit is a complete deal breaker for me. I really wish I wouldn’t have bought this game now and if this was a Steam game I would have already refunded it. I just refuse to commit 2-3 hours to a run before I can play any other game or do anything else on my PS5. It’s completely

I’ve been playing the game since it unlocked late yesterday evening and...just...wow. I’ve traditionally detested roguelikes as a genre, but always knew there’d be an exception out there somewhere. And I think Returnal may be it. Similarly, I can’t stand when a game is made intentionally hard purely for its own sake,
