FYI for people who may be confused: When you double tap the home button the screenshot is taken. Hitting Y afterwords just saves it.
Dostoyevsky is great. I recommend reading Notes From Undergrpund and The Brothers Karamazov.
Cool, thanks!
Thanks!
I've only read 1Q84. That book(s) was unreal. Any other suggestions?
To Rise Again at a Decent Hour by Joshua Ferris.
"I find the current objective-based missions lacking and in dire need of ones where several monsters might go up against several teams of hunters—and I could see those being sold as extras later down the line."
The digital editions only get the third tier of hunters and the wraith unlocked they'll still have to level up and unlock all the second tier stuff.
You have to pay for new monsters and hunters (outside of the monsters and 12 hunters that come with the game) but new maps and modes are free.
Great article. I think Fallout New Vegas did survival pretty well too with its hardcore mode, but obviously at a lesser extent.
I thought Monolith did The Matrix Online under Warner Bros.
Moore's ending was inspired by The Outer Limits episode "The Architect of Fear," which was inspired by Kurt Vomnegut's "Sirens of Titan," so that's why it's laughable. :)
You just blew my mind. I never thought of that. :)
I wonder if the game actually playing saw the same thing.
Max Payne was very noir. Noir is all about beaten down good guys trying to claw their way through corruption and evil found at every corner. The whole rain coat PI theme was popularized in film and novels.
Also, a Destiny 2 will allow Bungie to overhaul the loot system and how the game delivers story content; two things they desperately need to fix, IMO. :)
It's a big difference. For starters, it's a little more involved than just shuffling orcs around. The game keeps track of the player's interactions with the orcs which comes up narratively in subsequent encounters. The game mixes them up, so you're never truly reliant on one strategy for taking them on.
Maybe some of us who remember it being on there earlier are in the Preview program. I can say that I've seen (and used it when deciding whether or not to purchase a game) for at least 3-4 months.
This game needs to go the route of Diablo 3 and completely reboot the loot system.
